Google - Chrome Advent Calendar

Google’s browser, Chrome was suffering from low recognition.

We needed to find a relevant, fun and unusual way to help raise awareness, demonstrate it’s advantages & reach a ‘live’ audience of one million people in the run up to Christmas.

Solution

A projection mapped advent calendar on London’s Westfield Shopping Centre.

The 24 doors of the calendar allowed us to subtly demonstrate the many ways in which Chrome and the internet can help make the holidays easier.

Result

1.2 Million shoppers experienced the calendar over a 24-day period.

Chrome’s share of the browser market rose from 5.2% in November to 7.02% in January
